2020, January 15th.

It’s taken time and a lot of careful planning, but we’re now at the point when the new Lincotek brand has been launched in full. A big thank you to everyone involved in the process. And we also want to express our thanks to all our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders who have been so supportive of the initiative.

We said all along that the change would not impact in any way on our relationships or on the ownership and management of the business. As a global contract manufacturer providing integrated supply chain solutions, it’s important that we’re ready to face the challenges of the 2020s and beyond, delivering the highest possible standards of service. As a group, we already have more than 1,100 employees located in 16 production facilities across Europe, North America and Asia, but still have ambitious plans for the future.

As you’re probably already aware, Unitedcoatings Group has now been officially replaced by Lincotek and, as a result, all of our divisions have new names too. Eurocoating and its sister companies are now Lincotek Medical, Turbocoating is now Lincotek Surface Solutions. Artec, meanwhile, has become Lincotek Equipment.

The Lincotek brand is derived from the names of our owners – LIN as in Linda and Nelso Antolotti – to recall our origins. It also underlines the fact that our Group is privately held and gives the market a clear message of continuity. At the same time, of course, it means much more than this. It suggests the links we are creating between our different businesses and has an association with ‘lean’ processes. The ‘co’ refers to coating – where we started out – as well as contract manufacturing, where we are now. ‘Tek’, meanwhile, is a reference to our advanced technologies.

As we enter the new decade, we’re full of confidence. We’re showing leadership in the global market and aim to remain the first choice for OEMs in the field of contract manufacturing across the medical sector.

Winfried Schaller, the CEO of Lincotek, said:
‘This initiative has been an important part of preparing our company for the many challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the markets we serve. We are now more global than ever before and the rebranding as Lincotek signals that we are entering a new era at the start of the 2020s. Management of the new company remains exactly the same, which means there’s a sense of real continuity for our existing customers.’

The message is one of continuity, reliability and ingenuity. We’re looking forward to working in partnership with you as the 2020s unfold.
