CHARACTERISTICS OF OSPROLIFE® BONE SUBSTITUTES
Our OsproLife® bone substitutes – OsproLife® HA, OsproLife® HA-βTCP, OsproLife® HA-βTCP, and OsproLife® HA-TTCP – are available in different granulometries and chemical compositions. They are resorbable and can be replaced by newly formed bone.

They exhibit a range of surface porosity (50 to 500 microns) and roughness to stimulate early bone cell adhesion.
Once inside bone lacunae, OsproLife® bone substitutes can help establish a macroporous network. This, together with the porosity of micro-sized intra-granules that improve wettability, calcium release, and dissolution, improves biomaterial resorption and enhances bone ingrowth. This in turn aids the bridging of gaps.
They are radiopaque and supplied in single-use sterile packaging.
